Branding and print design for an online marketer

"Martin Holztrattner - Austria's True Online Marketing Coach" is a young internet entrepreneur from Stans, Austria. Years of experience and valuable expertise on how to achieve financial success with an online business are shared on his website, in online video courses, and seminars. We were responsible for branding development , designing various online banners, buttons, and design templates for the website and social media channels, as well as various flyers, business cards, and handout templates . The primary goal was to convey high quality, professionalism, credibility and authenticity, dynamism, and the image of a young, hip internet entrepreneur.


The symbol in the logo design combines three meanings:

  •  Networked lines with small (connecting) points symbolize the Internet or networking
  •  four mountain peaks show Martin Holztrattner's commitment to his Austrian origins
  •  The speech bubble symbolizes the coaching character or seminars of Martin Holztrattner

The branding impresses with friendly, upbeat, and dynamic colors that flow harmoniously into one another. Of particular note is the orange-yellow gradient, which runs from the bottom left (orange) to the top right (yellow). This creates even more optimism, as the sun rises in the east (right), which is what this color gradient is intended to represent.


The logo font is Rubik Black with manually optimized kerning. The lettering has a strong, modern feel and plenty of room to breathe. The font used for the tagline "Austria's True Online Marketing Coach" is Fauna One Regular. Combined with Rubik Black, it has a light, modern feel and is very legible, especially on screens, thanks to its high x-height and generous punch lines.


In addition to Rubik (logo) and Fauna One (claim), the Merriweather font is used in various weights for the main text and branding. Merriweather's high x-height provides excellent legibility, especially on screens. Low contrast and edgy serif transitions also convey a modern and dynamic look. Merriweather is down-to-earth and reminiscent of the website fonts of renowned daily newspapers, further underscoring the credibility of Martin Holztrattner ("Austria's True Online Marketing Coach").

Dynamic and animated markers for products and videos, dynamically animated website buttons (“call to action”), advertising banners and colored gradient areas with interconnected lines from the logo symbol are used to transport the branding through all communication media and thus form a harmonious unit.


A strong visual language combined with text (e.g. quotes) and a subtle orange-yellow color filter supports communication in social media and offline (flyers).
