The offline wine trade was no longer available due to the coronavirus lockdown. A digital offering had to be developed.

Professional web design with an inviting design and functional shop integration. Customers can now conveniently purchase Vin-Avventura wines online – even during the coronavirus lockdown.

The “everything but ordinary” wine shop of VinAvventura (Egg, Switzerland) sells exclusive wines from small and hand-picked wineries in Piedmont, Italy, to wine connoisseurs from Switzerland and Liechtenstein.


Spring 2020; the wine cellars were full to bursting – then the coronavirus pandemic struck. VinAvventura and all other businesses had to close for an indefinite period. With Vin-Avventura, an important customer for small winemakers in Piedmont, Italy, was also completely lost.


The problem: There was no online shop. Until then, the exquisite wines could only be purchased and picked up in person at the wine cellar. The coronavirus crisis forced VinAvventura to rethink its wine business.


We were hired to design a new website, including an online shop, based on the existing corporate design. The new e-commerce site makes VinAvventura independent of COVID-related business hours, opens up new perspectives, and makes the exquisite wines accessible to a wider audience.


 The button design, with its special hover animation, subtly echoes the logo and blends harmoniously into the web design. Clearly positioned call-to-action buttons subtly guide the reading flow and invite visitors to discover more. Emotional imagery supports VinAvventura's motto "Discover and experience wines."
