Immigration from other EU member states based on freedom of movement has been the predominant reason for immigration to Germany for many years. EU citizens from Poland, Romania, and Bulgaria constitute the three largest new immigration groups. The main motive for migration is the search for good jobs in Germany. Analyses have shown that new immigrants primarily use the internet for initial information and communication.
In order to more effectively inform those seeking advice on social media (especially Facebook) and present complex employment law issues in a more accessible manner, Minor – Projektkontor für Bildung und Forschung gemeinnützige GmbH (Berlin, Germany) commissioned us to create social media infographic designs in four languages (German, Polish, Bulgarian, and Romanian). The translated legal texts were provided by the client. This project was funded by the Equal Treatment Office for EU Workers and the German Federal Government Commissioner for Migration, Refugees and Integration.

Foreign languages, with their diverse characters, presented a particular microtypographic challenge. Therefore, we chose the "Lato" font for the main text, which supports all requested languages. "Lato" is Polish and means "summer." This font was developed by Polish type designer Łukasz Dziedzic from Warsaw.
The result is a homogenous series of 24 social media infographics (6 graphics x 4 languages). They are strikingly designed, allow for quick orientation, feature a Facebook-compatible format, and are ideally suited for a successful social media campaign.
The following year, we were again hired to design social media infographics – also in several languages.

"Competent, friendly, reliable – simply fantastic! It was a very pleasant and professional collaboration. Of the several companies we hired to create various formats for our project, HCG corporate designs was by far the best! We would recommend HCG corporate designs and Ms. Gamper without reservation at any time."
