CREATING YOUR BRAND

I develop holistic corporate design concepts that transport a brand’s character in a way that it is understood by the target group. In addition to the logo, which is the heart of a corporate design, there is also a harmonious colour scheme, a coherent typography concept supporting the perfect usage of various fonts, secondary style elements caring for the right look and feel and a principle of order which makes sure that all design elements are in the right place. This is the foundation of a professional corporate design, which things like business cards, letterheads, envelopes, form templates, website etc. are based on. My clients also receive a brief PDF manual that is included in the service. This manual documents and explains the corporate design which guarantees transparency and independence for my clients.

THE CREATION PROCESS

BRIEFING

 

It all starts with discussing requirements, target groups, "desired image", deadlines and goals with the client.

RESEARCH

 

I research further information about the character of the client’s business, its history and target group, in different data sources.

IDEAS

 

 Using different techniques, I work on various ideas for a design concept, such as shapes, colours and further style elements.

 

DRAFTS

 

 Based on the researched information and my ideas, several drafts for a logo and further style elements are created. 

MATCHING

 

 I match the created drafts with the goals defined in the briefing and prepare the logo drafts to be sent to the client.

 

FEEDBACK

 

 The best design drafts are sent to the client and details are discussed. A new feedback/correction round may apply upon request.

 

FINAL TOUCH

 

 Based upon the client feedback, I amend certain details of the design and give it the final touch. In addition to that, the corporate design manual is being finalised.

 

DELIVERY

 

 The corporate design will be delivered in a file structure including both the files to be used and the raw files. Also the corporate design manual is delivered in PDF format. This guarantees the client to stay independent from HCG corporate designs also in the future as he/she can work with other graphic designers or let in-house designers work with the corporate design.
