CORPORATE DESIGN / BRAND DESIGN
Imagine the brakes of your car are damaged. Luckily, you don't have an accident. But still: You have to get the brakes repaired.
On the internet, you search for garages and Google lists various websites.
You click through a few homepages and get a first impression. And you
probably know it, that gut feeling "this company looks good and professional"
or "hm, I don’t feel good with this company".
What garage would you trust to repair the damaged brakes of your car?
For sure the one that makes a professsional, trustworthy impression on you, where you have a good gut feeling.
A corporate design / brand design does just that: create a good gut feeling. It gives a business a unique visual identity and a professional, serious look. This generates trust among potentional clients and makes a business grow.
A logo is a symbol.
A corporate design creates a feeling.
It’s feelings that turn people into customers.
CREATING YOUR BRAND DESIGN
I develop holistic brand design concepts that transport a brand’s character in a way that it is understood by the target group. In addition to the company logo design, which is the heart of a brand design, there is also a harmonious colour scheme, a coherent typography concept supporting the perfect usage of various fonts, secondary style elements caring for the right look and feel and a principle of order which makes sure that all brand design elements are in the right place. This is the foundation of a professional brand design, which things like business cards, letterheads, envelopes, form templates, website etc. are based on. My clients also receive a brief PDF brand design manual that is included in the service. This manual documents and explains the brand design which guarantees transparency and independence for my clients.
"As one of only approx. 100 design agencies in Austria and Germany, I am certified by 'initiative corporate design', an ExpertsCluster by designaustria. This means, I commit myself to comply with high, pre-set quality standards when creating a brand design. This is my quality promise to you."

BRAND DESIGN CREATION PROCESS
It all starts with discussing requirements, target groups, "desired image", deadlines and goals with the client.
I research further information about the character of the client’s business, its history and target group, in different data sources.
Using different techniques, I work on various ideas for a brand design concept, such as shapes, colours and further style elements.
Based on the researched information and my ideas, several drafts for a company logo design and further style elements are created.
I match the created drafts with the goals defined in the briefing and prepare the company logo design drafts to be sent to the client.
The best design drafts are sent to the client and details are discussed. A new feedback/correction round may apply upon request.
Based upon the client feedback, I amend certain details of the brand design and give it the final touch. In addition to that, the brand design manual is being finalised.
The brand design will be delivered in a file structure including both the files to be used and the raw files. Also the brand design manual is delivered in PDF format. This guarantees the client to stay independent from HCG corporate designs also in the future as they can work with other design agencies or let in-house designers work with the brand design.
"I originally requested a company logo design but while we worked together on that I realised all the other services that HCG has to offer. I then decided to go for a completely new brand design. I wasn't too familiar with a brand design and didn't think I needed one. I was prepared to pay the extra for what has been a fantastic job by HCG. I'm overwhelmed with the outcome as my company has a lot of meaning and that is replicated in my new brand design. HCG was very easy to work with, fun to work with and you could see the efforts that had gone into the job. To summarise, I wouldn't go anywhere else for my design work and I learnt so much, which helps me and my business progress even more than I could without HCG."
