The new, harmonious corporate identity perfectly represents June Wiggins' values, making her the first point of contact for tailoring in her region.

June Wiggins is a dressmaker in England (Hemel Hempstead, near London) with decades of experience. Her services include sewing and altering all types of garments, including wedding dresses, and working with fabric in general (e.g., upholstery fabrics, curtains, cushions, etc.). Her core target group is women of all ages who value customized products. Her extended target group includes their husbands, other family members, and friends. Under the name "June Randall dressmaker," June Wiggins aims to raise her business model to a more professional level. We were responsible for the branding, including the web design. Everything stands for handcrafted craftsmanship, "the good old days," reliable service, elegance, and customized products that you can't buy off the shelf.
In the logo design, the initials of June Randall dressmaker are incorporated into a stitched circle, reminiscent of a tailor thanks to the pin. It's worth noting that the pin starts slightly above the first initial, making it the first element perceived in the flow of reading. This immediately recognizable to the viewer that the company is a tailor. The repetition of "dressmaker" at the end of the logo lettering further emphasizes this. Additionally, the stitched circle is reminiscent of a seal of quality.

The font in the logo is Lobster 1.3 with a slightly inward-shifted path. Additionally, the uppercase and lowercase J and R, and the lowercase e and r, as well as the kerning, were manually optimized.
The claim "Alterations for your perfect fit" ends with a period to reinforce the claim's message and bring both calm and determination. The claim is deliberately presented in the logo font Lobster 1.3 to create a visual connection between the claim and the logo design.
Muted colors convey elegance and calm throughout the branding. The colors aren't meant to be overly loud; the focus is on the customer and the service provided by June Randall dressmaker. Therefore, a muted vintage raspberry pink and a restrained dark blue-anthracite ("wet asphalt") are used. Vintage raspberry pink is also reminiscent of the "good old days" and appeals primarily to women, as the target audience is predominantly female. The wet asphalt blue creates a harmonious contrast, opens doors to male customers, and represents understated elegance. Pure black and pure white are deliberately avoided, instead choosing cream and dark anthracite to harmoniously round off the overall look.

The Josefin Slab font is used for the body copy. This serif typeface exudes elegance and romance. The Venetian e-minuscule adds a vintage touch, which positively supports the branding. French guillemets, with outward-facing arrows, are used as quotation marks, adding an extra dose of charm.
The business cards were printed on handmade paper to create a handmade feel. The color field with subtle floral patterns serves as a secondary stylistic element and is placed in the golden ratio.
